Had this spot in my bookmarks for quite some time now and we decided to come for a Sunday dinner on a whim! Glad we did! Restaurant was pretty busy but no wait around 6:30PM, super clean, with ample seating. We had the pleasure of being served by Hunter - who was very kind and accommodating. Our meal was delicious and very filling although, per usual, we over ordered and over ate, lol.

The food, the service and the overall quality of the restaurant was amazing. We went with a few sets of friends, from the appetizers to the dessert everything was delicious. I will definitely be going back.

This was our anniversary week so we visited a couple of restaurants that normally would be considered a special treat since we are both retired. Piccola Osteria is just that, a special treat. I wish I could give it a 4.8 or a 4.9 rather than only a 4 but I will explain later. We started with a dish called Cozze e Vongole ($20) Steamed Clams and Mussels in a White Wine Sauce. They were sweet and the sauce was perfect for dipping their awesome homemade bread in. Our main dish was Mediterranean Sea Bass plate called Branzino ($38). The Extra Virgin olive oil, lemon, garlic and butter sauce complimented the fish very well. My wife and I shared it with a Margarita Pizza ($19). This a a very good example of a Margarita Pizza due largely to the crust. Like their bread it's something above the normal fair. The service here is excellent. I did not get the gentlemen's name, our bill seemed to show him as 16-Waitr so I hope he gets credit for being such a master at his craft. Between him and his assistants there was never a time we felt ignored or abandoned. If a glass was empty there was someone there asking if we wished for a refill. If a plate was done, it was whisked away before it got in our way. What was most important was the cadence of the meal was matched to how fast or slow we finished each item. All this while every table was occupied so at their busiest the service was still excellent. That takes skill. The only negative that prevented a 5 star was the closeness of the tables made me feel a little cramped. If the place was not so busy I probably wouldn't have noticed but since there were other people in every direction I felt that one less table in every row would have spaces things out much better. Still it an awesome go to place for a very nice dinner, special occasion or not. Our bill with drinks and tip ran to $160 and well worth it.

Good italian food and best pizza in my area Good and fast service. Friendly and nice people.

Let me start by saying we went on the Saturday night before Mother's Day. We had reservations for outside. It was definitely busy, but very service oriented. There were four of us in our party. We started out with Rosalina cocktail and two Aperol Spritz cocktails, as well as the meat and cheese, charcuterie and calamari fritto. The charcuterie board (Tagliere) said it was for two and it easily fed four. The assortment of cheeses and meats, figs, nuts, and olives were delicious. Dinner comes with a plentiful basket of bread and all the condiments. We also had their cauliflower zuppe. And for main courses, we had the Chilean Sea bass in a saffron cream sauce. It came with whipped potatoes, so many delicious, roasted vegetable assortment, and greens,. We also ordered the spinach, asparagus and peas risotto, the pumpkin tortelloni, and the fettuccine with shrimp and artichoke hearts topped with truffle oil. The food was impeccable. The fresh pasta was like no other. Everything was delicious. For being a busy night everybody was so attentive and pleasant and we ended the evening with tiramisu and a warm blackberry cake with vanilla bean ice cream. Make sure you make reservations. The inside is really nice and the patio is really not an outside experience. Everyone at the bar seemed to be having a good time. The restrooms are clean and there's a lot of easy parking. This is definitely a higher end type eating experience and the prices reflect the quality of food, ambience and service. We will definitely be back for another special occasion in the future.

This is our favorite restaurant in Santa Clarita!! No need to travel far for a good Italian restaurant! Food is always delicious, each course is served right, and the restaurant ambience is very nice. The wait staff are friendly and attentive. We've been to the restaurant at least 5-6 times already, always taking more and more friends with us each time we go. No one is ever disappointed! I highly recommend it. We always look forward to going back!

Highly recommend! Came with my husband and we loved everything! Drinks were made very well, staff were very professional and friendly. We had the lamb, one of the specials which was pasta with shrimp and mango, and my husband had their creamy pasta with sausage (I forgot what the dishes were called unfortunately) To drink we had a martini and the hibiscus spritzer. The inside is beautiful decorated and the seating was perfectly spaced out.

Well this place continues to crank out wonderful food with excellent service to top it off. All I can say to you as a Yelper is, if you're researching Piccola Osteria, It's a must try, It's a great date place, great for groups and kid friendly and has a full bar. You'll enjoy the food and the service no doubt.

First time visitor last night and left full and happy. Came with some family that live in the area and love this place. The staff was so kind and attentive, constantly checking in and stopping by to say hello. I opted for the Rosellina to drink and the shrimp and scallop ravioli. It was so hard to decide because so many things sounded good but both were delicious! They were packed but still prompt with bringing drinks and food out. To end the night we ordered both the tiramisu and chocolate lava cake. The two were outstanding! Overall the restaurant was great and seems to be very popular! The food and drinks- delicious! Ample parking in the shared plaza parking. Ambiance is warm and make for a great date night or family get together. Most definitely want to come back again!

Italian food is kind of our go-to when we want to feel indulgent. Piccola Osteria fit this bill for date night and we were super happy with our experience and the food. We've also been to their other location and appreciated the more modern feel to this spot (and we actually liked the food better too. We started with the soup of the day which was a Maize Corn Soup...this was truly fantastic in flavor and texture. A corn based soup done exactly right. I had the Spinach Ravioli which came with a generous portion on the plate, topped with tomato sauce and I was absolutely not hungry after finishing it. My wife and I also shared the Allegra salad...it was beautifully presented (actually everything was really well plated which allowed the feast to start with our eyes before we even picked up our forks.) I think there was a newer staff member helping so our bread came kind of later than we wanted but it was worth the wait...house made and delicious with the oil and balsamic it was served with (just like back in the motherland.) We'd definitely come back here. The atmosphere was to our taste (again over the more traditional feel of their other location), the food was beautiful and delicious, and, as vegetarians, we had plenty to choose from.
